How I got to Charmed Valley...
In 2015, I was in the midst of growing yet another startup company, frazzled with juggling life as a single mom and nervously eyeing my upcoming, half-century mark birthday. I took an honest inventory of my life and realized that it didn't look like my definition of a good life. Some adjustments were needed.
So... I made the conscious decision to rebuild my life around the things that truly bring me joy - and to remove the things that didn't. Within a few months of turning fifty, I met and married my true love, ditched the high-stress media company I had started and began building a life that gave space for my real priorities: time with loved ones, time in nature, time to learn and time to create. Developing my summer home, Charmed Valley Farm, became part of this plan. I set out to create a commercial flower farm - and I ended up recreating ME - and SO MUCH MORE!
Being immersed in nature ignited my curiosity. I discovered that flowers don't just look pretty, they possess incredible powers: Sunflowers produce 'liquid gold'. Their oil is loaded with powerful antioxidants, acids and vitamins that protect, hydrate, heal and brighten... all while keeping pores clean; Rosehips are rich in natural Retinol. This reduces fine lines, firms, tightens and fades dark spots; Wild Geranium reduces inflammation, treats acne and keeps skin oils balanced; while Raspberry Leaves actually stimulate skin regeneration!
With this knowledge, I forged the Beauty and Strength of the flowers I was growing to create our Flower Oil Face Serum. First it was just for me. Then I shared it with my sisters and friends who continued to share it with their circles of influence. Now... the little serum that grew out of my flower fields is used ALL OVER THE WORLD!!
As I look back over the past 10 years, I am amazed at the changes, the capacity for happiness and incredible opportunities that have resulted from taking my personal inventory and consciously building a life that I wanted, step by step. I have always felt that the meaning of life is to continuously learn - about ourselves, our world and the people around us. This journey offers so many surprises along the way. Charmed Valley Farm flowers led to Charmed Valley Beauty. What's next? Who knows?!?!

I bought some flowers at the market in Boyne today. I was on the phone while I was buying some flowers from you. I was in awe of the beauty of your flowers. Great selection and the dinner plate dahlias were stunning. Thank you. Will you be at the market in the future?
